Building a strong network of referral partners starts with having a two-sided conversation—so we did just that. Money is certainly a driving factor behind motivation, but we’ve found that other considerations are just as important. So we decided to tear up the old model and create a new one. Moving away from paying comp based on products, and focusing on services, gives us much greater flexibility in rewarding our referral partners, while positioning ourselves as significantly more generous than our competition.

The Old Way:
Transactional

Insurance Products: fees paid to brokers as a percentage of premium

Retirement Plan: asset based compensation or consulting fees

Referral Fees: fee typically paid on a one time basis as opposed to residual income

A Better Way: Transformational

Giving: 1% of the gross revenue you bring in the door will be gifted to the charitable non-profit organization that’s closest to your heart.

Receiving: Referral fees paid as a defined dollar amount for each participant on our Arrow Cloud Systems HRIS and recordkeeping platform in a given month. This referral fee is in alignment with 100% of all employees on our Arrow Contractors Trust program.

Transparent and Generous Comp

As an Archer Jordan Referral Partner, your referral fee is paid out monthly for the groups you have introduced to us and that have chosen to take advantage of our highly specialized services. At this point your work is done; we handle everything. Our software will track which employees are active. Compensation and reporting will be generated by mid-month, following the month each participant is active. The duration of compensation will be from 1-5 years, and is broken down into two referral types: Insurance Brokers and Investment Advisors, Professional Service Providers and Industry Influencers.

Prevailing Wage Basics

“Prevailing wage requirements of various laws applicable to government contracts are enforced by the Wage and Hour Division.

The Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) require payment of prevailing wages to laborers and mechanics employed on federal and federally-assisted construction projects.

The McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act requires payment of prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits to service employees employed on contracts to provide services to the federal government.”
